Photography is a way of feeling
What you have caught on film is captured forever
It remembers little things
– Aaron Siskind
Hi and welcome! I’m Michelle (but most people call me Shelly), and I’m the girl behind the camera. Owen Sound is where I call home along with my husband, two boys, a dog (Sadie) and a cat (Ozzie).
Most of my days are spent caught up in the whirlwind of motherhood; morning routines, sticky fingers, snuggles, tears, and hoping the loads of laundry will magically fold itself.
Photography for me is capturing the beauty in the chaos. I am inspired by you, your story, and the way you interact. My goal is to be able to capture the way a moment feels; the raw, the real, the joy and love so that you can remember this time forever. This is what makes my heart sing as a photographer.
